Sarah Cope
Research and Projects Coordinator
Sarah Cope is an international security researcher and writer, with a demonstrated research history spanning economic statecraft, irregular warfare, and the intersection of security and group behavior. She is an experienced editor and has led workshops focused on persuasive and analytical writing. During her time as a master's student at Georgetown, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of The Georgetown Security Studies Review, where she oversaw the publication of dozens of opinion pieces by students and practitioners as well as two editions of the academic journal.
Previously, Sarah worked in French and English-language investigative research and compliance and served as a research assistant at Weill Cornell, where she studied cognitive and neuropsychological processes. She has authored academic and opinion publications on the use of private military companies, state-building, and historical influence operations.
