 What:           This is a live, expert instructor led course that prepares students to understand and affect who has authority -
                      and why - in European societies impacted by competition, conflict, or contested authority. Designed around            
                      Motive’s one-of-a-kind, empirically proven Social Contract Assessment Tool (SCAT), this course translates
theoretical concepts into powerful, actionable skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze,
strengthen, counter, and leverage state- and non-state systems of authority in ways that bolster resilience, reduce
conflict, and enable stability in European contexts. Students will be able to forecast and mitigate governance risks
and contribute to targeted analysis and planning efforts that support security and stability in Europe. This
Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) course has been taught to more than 5,000 U.S. and international civilian,
military, industry, and civil society partners worldwide. Course format includes:

                          • Expert-led seminars
                          • Hands-on practical exercises
                          • Europe specific case studies
                          • Culminating final exercise & brief

Who:           Motive International is a U.S. social enterprise with a mission to mitigate global conflict and instability. Instructors for
                  this course are Motive subject matter experts who have served as U.S. diplomats, advisory to U.S. and allied
militaries, and bring 20+ years of experience achieving governance effects in contested global environments through
whole-of-society approaches.

                   This course is ideally suited for U.S. and allied civilian and military personnel operating in the European theatre.

 Cost:         Tuition cost is $1,495 per student and includes full course print and digital materials and student access to lifelong
reach-back support from SME instructors after completing the course.
