A retired Civil Affairs officer, Clay served in assignments from the team level to USSOCOM HQ.  Experienced in multinational operations in tactical environments, field work, and as a member of multiple U.S. Country Teams. Operational deployments include Afghanistan, Iraq, the Philippines, and Bangladesh among others. Master of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School.
